In 1922 Martin Walton decided to open a Music Shop in North Frederick St in Dublin. 100 Years later his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren are still running this business that has developed considerably from the first violins and books which he sold all those years ago. In these times of change we take great pride in being a fully owned Irish business, serving the needs of all the people of Ireland and the great diversity of Music and Cultures that our wonderful country has embraced.

The Walton Family, and our talented staff, will do our very best to either start you on your musical journey or keep you going wherever you have ventured in this wonderful world of Music. We understand in today’s world, where people are often frustrated by technology which can restrict human to human contact as a method for communication and problem solving, the importance of being accessible to our customers. Therefore throughout this website we have tried to keep easy access to email queries or direct phone contact.

It is this simple. We love Music, our Family Business and its long history. We need your support to keep going for another 100 years and we will do everything we can to make you welcome and to give you any assistance we can.
