Marcel Grandjany | “Automne” a piece for harp, Autumn | Harp Solo

    pièce pour harpe

Marcel Grandjany (1891–1975) was a French-born American harpist and composer. He composed his Automne for solo harp during his Parisian period. The piece, published by Durand in 1927, was probably written during the same year and does not present any particularly technical difficulties, to the point that when it is performed today, it is mainly for its pedagogical qualities. Introduction in French and English by the noted harpist Constance Luzzati. – New engraving.
