This flute takes its design inspiration from the original designs of Rudall and Rose who were a 19th-century British firm that manufactured high-quality flutes, and later became the prominent Rudall Carte & Co. Founded in 1822 by George Rudall and John Mitchell Rose, the company was known for its instruments during a key period of flute development, and they partnered with Theobald Boehm to produce his revolutionary flutes in Britain.
