Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16, composed in 1868, was the only concerto Grieg completed. It is one of his most popular works and among the most popular of all piano concerti.
Edition Peters publishes two editions of the Piano Concerto – the first for two pianos, including a soloist part and an orchestral reduction (two copies are needed for a performance), and the second abridged and arranged for solo piano by Wilhelm Weismann – both of which are available from Waltons.
