The Omen series models are the perfect introduction to the heavy world of Schecter. A basswood body, a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, 24 X-Jumbo frets and two powerful Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, everything a metal heart desires. The Omen-6 is a tonal monster, with an arched top and a Walnut Satin finish for a rustic look. The bolt-on construction makes for a snappy response. The Maple neck is super smooth, providing great articulation. The Rosewood fingerboard boasts Pearloid Semi-Goth inlays and a Thin C profile, 24 X-Jumbo frets and a 14″ radius, so it’s a fast neck and comfortable to play. Loaded with Schecter Diamond Plus Pickups, these humbuckers give that little bit extra clarity and power. With Schecter tuners and a Tune-O-Matic bridge, you get great tuning stability and intonation. This is a really well designed and constructed guitar; it offers everything the modern player needs. Tune-O-Matic Bridge

The Tune-O-Matic Bridge consists of a fixed base and individually adjustable saddles that allow the guitarist to precisely adjust the string height and intonation. This contributes to improved playability and tuning stability. The strings are passed through the body of the guitar via the saddles. This “string thru body” design provides increased string vibration and contributes to the guitar’s resonance and sustain.

Rosewood Fretboard

A rosewood fretboard is characterized by a warm, resonant tone quality. The density and structure of rosewood help the string vibrations to be transmitted efficiently, resulting in a balanced sound spectrum with emphasized lows, clear mids and silky highs.
