 A 23 nylon-string elementary student harp that allows the novice to play with and explore how serious their interest in harp playing is.

The Harp

Irish Harps are indeed an expensive item for parents to commit to while unsure of the commitment a child might give to an idea they have of playing the harp. The Waltons 23 nylon string harp is another in our series allowing younger children to play the harp at a level and a price that will find out whether they and their parents should commit to a full student harp. Our economical 23 string model comes with semi-tone blades and allows students to get used to tuning issues as well as simply playing. The Harp comes with a tuning key and carry bag.

Waltons always suggests that if you are going to a specific teacher that it is a good idea to consult with the teacher on their ideas for which harp is most suitable based on age, size and any other musical ability the student might have.

However, we do say that these harps are an inexpensive way to explore the world of harping without too much pain to the pocket.
