Shadow SH-930G | 6-String Guitar Banjo Bridge Pickup | Vol and Tone Control

Quality 6-string hardwood Guitar Banjo Bridge with Piezo Pickup. It has two piezo pickups built into the outer feet of the bridge. Includes volume and tone control and a 12-foot cable.

Preparation and Placement for the bridge Pickup

• Mark position of your existing bridge: Use a soft pencil to mark the exact spot of your old banjo bridge before removing it.
• Swap bridge: Take off the strings, remove the old bridge, and put the hardwood Shadow SH 930 bridge in its exact place.
• Ensure proper seating: Make sure the two piezo sensors built into the outer feet of the bridge make even contact with the banjo head

How to Mount the controls

• Choose a flat, convenient, and easily reachable spot on the banjo shell, rim, or resonator that does not interfere with your playing
• Clean the chosen surface thoroughly to remove any dust or oil so the tape sticks well.
• Peel off the protective backing foil from the double-sided adhesive or velcro tape attached to the volume and tone control unit.
• Press the control unit firmly against the chosen spot on the instrument.
• Plug the cable from the bridge pickup directly into the “IN” input jack on the volume and tone control unit.
• Wiring and Controls

• Run the cable: Route the included 3.5-meter cable (with jack and mini-jack connections) neatly away from the tailpiece and strings.
• Tune and test: Put the strings back on, tune the banjo to bring up tension evenly across the new bridge, and plug the cable into your amplifier or PA system
